About CO-OP
NEW MODE: Co-Op Extermination

Team up and Exterminate all Battle Drones! Use extreme caution! Battle Drones hunt in groups, are well armed and will attack on sight.
Mission Details
Teams: Arsenal Megacorp recommends that employees work in teams of 2; however, solo operations are also permitted.
Objective: Your team has 3 minutes to exterminate the entire infestation in your assigned facility before the reactor explodes. The drones will hunt you down. Hold your ground to avoid ambushes.
Compensation: Energized employees are authorized to keep any gear or valuables recovered during extermination including credits, weapons and armors. Additional bonuses will be awarded for completely clearing infested facilities within the allotted time.
How to Launch Co-Op
- From Main Menu screen: Select [Play]
- From Choose Your Opponent screen: Select [World]
- From Choose Your Mode screen: Select [Co-Op]
Alternately, select the Co-op option in the Friends lobby before starting a private match.
Playing Co-Op Extermination Mode
Players have 3 minutes to exterminate all enemies from their facility. Enemies attack in waves. All enemies in a wave must be destroyed before the next wave begins.
Use teamwork: Drones are powerful and outnumber you. The best way to survive is to stick with your teammate!
Compensation
Your gear must be energized in order to earn compensation in Co-op Extermination mode. Compensation includes credit payments and loot dropped by destroyed drones.
Loot: Enemies have a chance of dropping loot when they are destroyed. The more enemies you kill, the greater the odds that you will find loot! In co-op games, certain loot drops can only be collected by the player who scored the kill.

Powerups: Some battle drones will drop powerups when killed. Powerups can be picked up by either you or your teammates.
Progress Bonus: Players can be awarded credits for defeating certain, more challenging waves of enemies.
Extermination Bonus: Both players are awarded bonus loot if all enemies are destroyed in three minutes or less.
New Environments
Drones are attempting to infest company property beyond the Eliminate combat arenas. Attacks have already been confirmed in the Block East Annex and Junction facilities with additional locations at risk of infiltration in the near future.

Battle Drone Types
Exact specifications on Drone Types are classified. However, Arsenal Megacorp has released this reference image depicting one of the three known chassis types. Drones have taken over manufacturing equipment and may have fabricated additional Drone models derrived from other Arsenal Megacorp assets.

Recruit

Eliminate 2.0’s Recruit feature allows you to recruit friends who do not have Eliminate or invite existing Eliminate players to your friends list.
This gives you the ability to increase your pool of friends to play with in private matches and gives you the opportunity to earn new weapons and gear if the Recruit has never played Eliminate before!
There are 2 ways to recruit a friend to play Eliminate:
- Invite players from your plus+ friends list by selecting the plus+ button on the Recruit Screen.
- This will bring up a list of eligible recruits. Invite someone by simply tapping the “invite” button next to their name.
- (Note: Please wait until you see the word “sent” next to a user's name before selecting your next recruit”).
- Inviting players through this method will send them an invitation via push notification.
- As soon as your friend signs into any version of Eliminate for the first time, you will receive credit for that recruit and will earn your reward. Your recruits are all listed in your recruit list in the bottom-right-hand corner of the screen.
- If your friend has already played Eliminate, they won't count toward your Recruits list, but they're still added to your Friends list.
- You can send email invitations by pressing the CONTACTS button.
- This will pull up a list of all email addresses in your iPhone/iPod Touch’s contacts list.
- You will receive credit for new recruits the next time your invited friend logs into Eliminate with a plus+ account that has their email address associated with it.
- The email address of the newly registered player needs to match the email address in your contacts list in order to recognize the new player as your Recruit.
- If your friend uses a different email address when registering for Plus+, then your friend will not be added to your Recruits list.
Remember: You will only receive Recruit credit for eligible recruits. An eligible recruit is someone who:
- Has never signed into any version of Eliminate with their plus+ account before.
- The user's iPhone or iPod touch device has never been used by another valid Eliminate player account.
- If another Eliminate player has logged into a game using their Plus+ account on the same device as the invited player, then the invited player will be added to your friends, but will not be added to your Recruits.

To see how many more matches you can use your prototype before it expires, check the yellow "prototype durability" meter in the upper-right corner of your inventory screen.
- About Mods
- Mods are limited-use skins that provide your player with an additional boost in one particular stat. If you own a mod, you can equip it in the inventory screen the same way you equip a skin. One more thing to know…
- Level Requirements

- Select a category
-
Getting Energy
Arsenal Megacorp sensors can not interface with your armor if it is not energized. Therefore if you run out of energy, you cannot earn Credits when playing games.
Your energy will recharge over time. If you're eager to jump back into active testing, you can use power cells to refill your energy.
- Recharging with powercells
- To recharge your energy meter with power cells, simply tap on the recharge button in the center of the screen.
- Purchasing Power Cells
- If you don’t have any power cells, you can PURCHASE them from the iTunes store.
- Energy Recharge
- Energy recharges slowly over time until your energy bar is full. You don't need to fully depleat your energy in order for it to recharge. Your energy level will automatically begin to recharge as soon as you play an energized game and consume some energy. Energy recharges one game at a time until the bar is full.
- TIP: You can user Power Cells to immediately recharge your energy bar. More power cells are required to recharge an empty energy meter and fewer power cells are required to recharge a partially filled energy meter. If you do not have enough power cells to fully replenish your energy meter, the game will attempt to replenish a portion of your energy bar if sufficient power cells are available.
-
Starting Combat
Before entering our training facilities, you may choose the type of arena you'd like to enter:
- World
- Get matched against other players of your skill level from our global pool of Megacorp testers.
- Friends
- Already acquainted with fellow employees? Well invite them from your Plus+ friends list to play against you.
- Bots
- Play a practice match against computer controlled opponents. (You will not earn Credits playing against bots, but you will not spend energy either). Upgrades do not work in practice matches. Standard issue practice gear is provided for your convenience
-
Friends Matches
Welcome to the Friends Match Menu! From here, you can start a private match with up to 3 of your Plus+ friends at any time, whether your friends are currently playing Eliminate or not.
The first thing to notice on this menu is your friends list on the left hand side of the screen. This list displays any and all Plus+ users who are on your friends list (provided that you are on their friends list as well). Under each of your friends' names is their status. You can invite a user to a game (whether they are online or not) by tapping their name, and then tapping on the Invite button on the right side of the screen.
Each friend in your list has a colored light next to their game. This communicates their status (as follows)
- Green: Online
- Blue: Player has joined your party
- Yellow: You've sent an invitation and are waiting for a response
- Red: Offline
Online users will receive a pop-up invitation. If they accept, they will be taken into your friend lobby. Any offline user will receive a push notification on their iPhone or iPod touch. If they accept the push invitation, they too will be taken straight to your friends lobby. Any time a user enters your lobby, you will see an announcement at the top of the screen, and will also see their status change on your friends list.
Once people have joined your party, you can chat with them by pressing the chat button in the top-middle of the screen. This will bring up a virtual keyboard. Party members can all see each others' chat messages onscreen.
Once you have formed your party, you can enter a match at any time by pressing the Start Game button. Please note that only the party leader can do this. Other players in the party will be brought into the match as soon as the party leader presses the Start Game button.
Lastly, you can add friends to your friend list at any time by pressing the Add Friends button. This will take you directly to the Plus+ friend search page, where you can search for people by their user name or their first/last names. When you add someone to your friends list in Eliminate, they will receive a notification the next time they load the app. You will need to be mutual friends before you can invite someone to a game.
-
Adding Friends
Adding friends to your list will provide the following benefits:
- Live Friend Updates: While playing Eliminate, you will receive alerts when your friends log in and log out of the game
- Invitations: You can send and receive invitations to join private friend matches.
- Live Chat: You can chat with friends while waiting to join a private match.
- Compare Stats: You can compare rank, skill level and equipment with friends from the friend lobby
For a player to appear in your Friends List, you must either have them accept your friend request, or accept a friend request from that player.
Sending a Friend Request:
- From the friend lobby, press the Add Friend button.
- Now, you can either enter the name or gamername of a user in the search field, or press the Search Contacts button to search your contact list.
- Tap any user name to send a friend request. Your friend will receive the request the next time they load the app.
Accepting a Friend Request: Your New Friend requests will be posted when you first load Eliminate.
The request will read: “You have new followers. Touch confirm to make them friends.”
By touching confirm, you will accept any outstanding friend requests.
That’s it! You should now be able to invite your friend to a match!
-
Practice Matches
- Select a menu to practice on!
- Drag your finger left/right to see the different maps you can choose from.
- Tap on a map to select it.
-
Earning Credits
Eliminate other player combatants in the World or Friend arenas to earn Credits.
At the end of each match, players are awarded Credits for their performance in the arena. The player with the most kills will earn the most Credits. The remaining Credits will be awarded to the other players in amounts corresponding to their placement. So the person with the least kills will earn the least Credits, and so on.
Bonus Credits are ejected from fallen combatants when they are Eliminated during combat. These Bonus Credits are purely additive and will not be subtracted from the victim’s earnings. Anyone can pick up Bonus Credits if they remain unclaimed in the arena.
Additionally, taunting fallen combatants will earn additional Credits. Shake your device over a fallen combatant to taunt the victim for Credits.
NOTICE: Earning Credits requires energy. Be sure to have energy before entering the arena. If you enter an arena without energy, you will not earn any Credits. Energy can be replenished by tapping your energy bar.
-
Power-ups
Power-ups are concentrations of programmable energy that, when applied to gear, bestow specific combat benefits for a short duration of time. Arsenal researchers test various battlefield Power-up technologies inside Eliminate arenas. Simply come into contact with any Power-up and it will synthesize into your gear. Power-up effects are granted immediately upon contact.
A Power-up status bar will appear on your HUD showing how much time is remaining before the Power-up effects expire.
You can only be under the influence of one Power-up at a time. The most recent Power-up to synthesize with your gear will be active and cancel the affects of any prior performance enhancers.
The following Powerups are currently in arena testing:
- Damage Amplifier
- Weapon damage is increased significantly when using this Power-up.
- Berserker Shield
- Armor becomes invulnerable and will inflict lethal damage to other combatants who come into contact with you while this Power-up is in effect.
- Cloaking Field
- Your gear will become nearly invisible when this Power-up is used.
- Health Recharge
- Your health will replenish and exceed natural levels while under the influence of this Power-up.
- Jet Pack
- Fly in the direction you aim or jump to gain altitude quickly with this Power-up equipped.
- Acceleration
- Your movement speed over solid surfaces will increase while using this Power-up.

Matchmaking & Skill
About Skill
Your skill rating is a key criteria in matchmaking. Unlike Level, which is purely based on your lifetime credits earned, your skill is a constantly changing value that is recalculated at the end of each match. When the match ends, your skill level will go up or down based on your performance in the match, and on the relative difference in skill between you and your opponents. For example: If you win a match against opponents who have a significantly lower skill level, your skill may change increment, but it will only change increment by a smaller amount. Conversely, if you beat a player with a much higher skill level, your skill will rise more dramatically.
Because your skill level starts at 0, your skill level will fluctuate in your first few matches as the game tries to determine your true skill. Your skill level will become more accurate with each game you play, and over time you should find yourself matched with players at your level.
About Matchmaking
Other than skill, our matchmaker takes several other criteria into account:
- Minimizing wait times to ensure you get into a match as soon as possible.
- Ensuring that you are routed to a game server that has the lowest ping time available.
- Attempting to place you into a newly started match instead of a match already in progress whenever possible.
- Attempting to place you into a 4 player match whenever possible.
- The real trick with matchmaking is that optimizing for one of these criteria will frequently reduce the influence of the others. For example: If the matchmaker makes getting you into a match as fast as possible its highest priority, it will not be as stringent about ensuring you're in a match against opponents with your same skill level.
As Eliminate continues to evolve, we will continue to improve iterate on matchmaking to create the best experience possible. Recently, we've increased the priority on keeping users within the same skill level to ensure that advanced players are matched with other advanced players whenever possible. You may notice that, as a result, it may take a bit longer than usual to connect to a match. Let us know what you think.

Performance Tips
Your Eliminate gaming device is a busy, multitasking, pocket-sized computer. As such, there are many background processes that can cause the game to slow down periodically. For the smoothest possible gameplay experience, try these performance tips:
- Reboot your device before playing to clear out any memory fragmentation that can accumulate from other applications. To reboot, hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously then power OFF your device. Once your Device is off, reboot by pressing the Sleep button.
- Disable Fetch Data activity here: Settings \ Mail,Contacts,Calendars \ Fetch New Data \ Push \ OFF
- Disable Calendar Alerts here: Settings \ Mail,Contacts,Calendars \ New Invitation Alerts \ OFF
- Disable Notifications for apps with frequent alerts here: Settings \ Notifications \ (App name) \ Alerts \ OFF
- Disable Auto-lock to avoid lost connection due to inactivity here: Settings \ General \ Auto-Lock \ Never
Remember to keep Alerts & Notifications ON for Eliminate Pro in order to send and receive game invitations when either you or your friends are offline. Invitations will only work between players who are currently signed into the game when Notifications are disabled.
